Nestled along the breathtaking West End Road in Negril, Jah Freedom Recording Company provides recording services of all types including demos, live band facilities, analogue and digital audio tape and digital computer recording and mastering using the industry standard, Protools. We also arrange and record a large number of dubplate 'specials' for international sound systems and deejays for internet and walk-in clients.

We offer an impressive array of recording equipment including 24 track 2 Otari MX80, Protools LE, and ADAT XT 20. We also use a wide variety of outboard up to date and vintage, effects and signal processing equipment. Clients can record in our live recording facilities with Guitars, Live drums, keyboards, and professional percussion instruments.

Jah Freedom also makes arrangements with Jamaica’s top recording musicians for your sessions here in Negril. Many of Reggae Music’s most experienced touring and recording musicians live and work right here in Negril and they make themselves available for sessions at Jah Freedom, whenever they are needed.

Our staff recording engineers, Wayne Lazeme and Mark Birch together have more than 35 years recording experience in the Reggae business and have recorded and mixed and mastered many big reggae projects over the years.

Artistes who have recorded at Jah Freedom, include Luciano, Yellowman, TOK, Sizzla, Terry Linen, Jigsy King, Tony Curtis, Gregory Isaacs, Third World, Tony Rebel, John Holt and most of the Reggae community. We have also worked with artistes of other musical genres outside of reggae music, which include hip-hop, R & B, Rock, Jazz and Blues.

Jah Freedom Recording Company, Limited is owned & run by Steve Weinstein, originally from Philadelphia. For 10 years Steve has been building the Jah Freedom name to be recognized in the Reggae industry as having quality and value. We offer affordable recording packages. We are conveniently located on the West End of tropical Negril. We can provide artistes, bands, and producers with comfortable accommodations, along the coast where they can relax and immerse themselves in the relaxed ambiance that only Jamaica offers.

Travel

We can arrange for reliable drivers and safe airport transfers to make your trip convenient and pleasurable, while working with Jah Freedom Recording Company. We can arrange discounted accomodations at some of the area's resorts and hotels for our clients.

Record Pressing and CD Replication and Art Design

Jah Freedom has direct links to Kingston’s top replication and pressing and printing companies. We can use these associations to arrange printing, artwork layout and design and pressing or replicating of recordings.
